First of all Xandrella and I would like to thank you for your contribution to some sections of our site.
Xena’s fans from all over the world know you as the webmistress of ausxip.com

1. Tell us something about you, how you got to know Xena and how ausxip.com began.

Back in 1996 I was watching Star Trek Deep Space Nine and that was a favourite show of mine at the time. A friend suggested I watch a new show called Xena Warrior Princess. I said nope didn't want to. She persisted and I gave in and watched two episodes that she sent via video tape. I hated it. :) But my friend Xero didn't give up and when the show started in Australia in December 1996, she asked me to tape the first episode because she didn't have a copy. I sat down to make sure I was taping the right thing. I had every intention of just stopping for a moment and then I was just stuck in my chair watching this tall, dark haired woman kick butt and I was hooked :)

That night I had gone online and found Tom's site (www.xenafan.com) and I loved it. I wanted to create artwork based on the episodes so I looked around to see if anyone was doing something similar so I can contribute to that site. They weren't so I figured I'd do it myself. AUSXIP was the first Australian xena site and I added some Aussie xena news. You can see a version of that page at http://www.ausxip.com/flashback/1996/index.html

2. Favorite season, episode and character.

Favourite Season...that's hard. I like Seasons 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 the best. Episode: When Fates Collide, Dreamworker and One Against An Army Character: Xena <g>

3. Do you think that we will ever see a Xena movie?

Gosh I hope so. I really want to see Lucy and Renee on the big screen but I think we are running out of time for that to happen.

4. In your opinion what are the reasons why Xena: Warrior Princess ended? Lack of audience or authors’ lack of ideas?

I don't think that it ended because there was a lack of viewers but more that the studio had come to the end of it's love affair with Xena. A shame.

5. Xena and Gabrielle were a couple since the first episodes or do you identify a moment where you sense the beginning of their relationship?

I saw it in Hooves & Harlots but if I go back and rewatch Sins, I can see it there.

6. Ares is to Xena: a friend, an enemy or a lover?

Love/Hate relationship...Xena did have a thing for bad boys which seemed to attract her. They were never lovers but Ares would have wanted it to be. An enemy/friend.

7. How many times did you meet Lucy and Renee?

A few times.

8. Is there anything that strikes you when you meet Lucy and Renee?

Other than Lucy towering over me? <g> I would say that they are very generous with their time and are very normal, down to earth people who I admire a great deal.

9. Can you give us some anticipation for the future on ausxip.com?

AUSXIP is made up of three sites: main Xena site, the Lucy site and the Renee site. I love both these actresses and I love the show even if it is long gone. The site will continue to grow (hopefully) and it will follow the careers of Lucy and Renee.
